Privacy Policy

     All volunteers participating in the research to be conducted at IKUM in order to protect their privacy.

     The name and surname of the volunteer cannot be written in any of the sample containers when sending blood and urine specimens taken from the volunteers to the laboratory. Instead, special numbers given by the clinic are written.

     The confidentiality agreements prepared by the contract research organization should be signed by the researchers. While one copy is kept in the researcher's file, the other one is sent to the contract research organization.

     It is strictly forbidden to provide information to any contract research organization or supporter except for their own studies, and any information related to the study may be given by the Director of IKUM and/or the Researcher in Charge. In the absence of these persons, the co-researcher may provide the necessary information.

     The reports of the clinical inspections are confidential and cannot be given to third parties and organizations.

     Documents related to the studies are stored by the personnel in the fire-resistant lockers in the working environment.

   Access to these documents is restricted to authorized persons only - working staff, followers of supervisors and supervisors, EC and MOH and other regulatory authorities.

     The researcher

- uses the volunteers’ personal data only for the purposes stated in the protocol and in the information and consent forms,

- ensures that these data are appropriate for the study, are correct, are not excessive and are not stored further than necessary,

- keeps written documents in locked offices, archives and cupboards and allows only the authorized persons to access them.

- ensures that personal data stored in computers are kept safely in a way that only authorized personnel can change or delete them.

- says that individuals can see information in the consent and information forms about themselves if they wish.

- ensures that personal data are not let out of clinic without adequate protection
